Ever since we opened our practice, we have had the aspiration to show people that the power that made the body can heal the body. To reconnect and realign them back to themselves, through NetworkSpinal nervous system care. Why? Because life is richer when we experience it clearly as ourselves, and not from guarding, wounds, protection or overwhelm. I’ve seen “Network”—such a gentle method—make the unexpected possible. I wanted to help spread that like one candle lighting another. I wanted to increase people’s awareness of this amazing care.

Despite our wins, our welcoming and supportive practice, and online education, we don’t fully feel we are achieving our aspiration: to impact a substantial number of people.

We have heard many people say “my friend really needs this” or “I really want to bring my kids in”. People are understanding more and more the importance of a regulated nervous system.

But with around 50 trained professionals in the country, it’s a fact that there are not enough NetworkSpinal practitioners in Australia. Not enough people know it exists. And those who do find it are often priced out before they ever feel what it can do for them.

I believe this care has enormous potential, and I believe too few people can access it.

• If our vision is a more aware, empowered and conscious culture of healing, how does that become real for most people — not as a luxury, not through financial strain, but as a sustainable part of ordinary life? And not just for one person, but for a whole family.

I know that’s a major question. I can see it and hear it in the people who walk through our door. The cost of living is pressing on everyone. However, with every discomfort and every pressure, there is opportunity.

We want to serve more individuals, their families and their communities, through more accessible and affordable care. That means trying something different, against the cultural meme.

My own family — mum, dad, three brothers and grandma — have seen a chiropractor regularly for family wellness since 2003. We were all healthier for it, and we could only do so because our chiropractor made it financially possible. That's the practice I actually want to run.

In Network care — and in life — there's a stage of healing called Stage 3 — “Stuck In a Perspective”. I recently experienced the gift of this stage, which was the awareness that I was in my own way, operating from an old script and preventing myself from being of service to more people. So with a refreshed perspective we’re changing how Seeking More works — for everyone already with us, everyone who's been with us before, and everyone still to come.

Part of this feels bold. Most of it just feels right because this care is too important. I want Seeking More to be among the most affordable and accessible sanctuaries of nervous system care on the Sunshine Coast — a place where people experience more than what they thought was possible, and bring the people they love along with them.
